supernashwan In this latest upload, all exterior parts of the conning tower have been moved into another model.
Here you have all the plumbing around the inner conning tower pressure vessel. The rest of the plumbing that heads aft will be added soon, or maybe pushed into the exhaust model.

I just got hold of Fitchen Foo's excellent 1/35 Implausable long nose submersible model over at Industria Mechanika. I thought it could benefit from a working hatch, so I modified the uboat hatch to suit, I'll let you know how it fits.

supernashwan I am close to taking it out of beta, once the front panel fits the kit's tower parts better.
