hawke0 @Roolz I’m surprised there would be any cost reduction since most/all of the plastic stays inside. I guess it doesn’t have to be sintered so there’s the time and energy savings. Would it work to remove the piece that prevents the flight stand from going in too far? That's the part that makes it hard to remove the plastic powder. You’d need a longer flightstand then but I would think it would work fine.
hawke0 Minor issue with these: The fuel spheres are hollow but they have no good way for the plastic powder to escape. So it slowly leaks out through the bottom hole. Might be better to just make them solid instead.
hawke0 Note that Litko flight stands are 0.125 inches diameter, a little too big for these 3mm holes

hawke0 @Roolz nah, I ordered some 3mm rod and it was much better and closer to what I’d expect for a ~3mm tolerance. Some a little loose, others a bit tight, mostly pretty good. the 1/8 in. Litko stands were definitely not really close to usable, without turning it down to size on the end.
hawke0 I ended up buying some 3mm rod and cutting it to length. You wouldn’t think that 0.175mm would make as much of a difference as it does. As such I would not recommend the Litko flight stand pegs for this.

hawke0 The hole in the colony base tends to be a bit on the large side (or the factory pegs a bit small), making the connection a bit loose/sloppy. Might be better to tighten them up a bit even at the cost of possibly needing to drill them out. What’s the intended diameter of the colony hole? It’s clearly smaller than the ship/factory hole.

hawke0 One other comment, the noses of all the cars tend to have a "lip" sticking up around them rather than smoothly rounding into the intake. This has to be sanded down but is otherwise not a problem, but might be worth taking into consideration if possible for a future rev
hawke0 These turned out pretty well. Some of the fine detail may have been a little ambitious. Mirrors in particular are not really visible and have broken off (except on the VW57). Exhaust pipe broke off from one of the T43s, but at this scale that's not a huge problem honestly. The above might be improved with frosted ultra detail; I used "white strong and flexible".

hawke0 These turned out great. A little cleanup was necessary for some of the back wing holes to go all the way through, but overall it worked out very well.
hawke0 @aegidian Thanks. Is there some reason these are not available in "Plastic: White Strong & Flexible Polished" like the other one?
hawke0 What's the difference between these and "F1 2009-2013 x12 Sprued"?
