dhannema @ptorthered In the past I indeed had name customizations enabled for the lock. However, I had to remove this due to changes Shapeways made to the minimum allowed wall thickness. The lock is actually 1mm thick and the new min. allowed thickness is 1.5mm. Since a name customization in essence always means a new model, the lock will never pass Shapeways' model checker and never reaches production. I have actually tried the lock with a thickness of 1.5 mm, but that unfortunately didn't fit anymore comfortably through the hinge gap. Also, making the lock even thinner is therefore also not an option and I was lucky to have created the (non-customized) model when 1mm was still allowed!

dhannema @CryptoCoinUser Allowing the lid to be closed with the lock in place would require the lock to be a lot thinner. This would then make it very easy to just twist or break the lock. With my thicker lock, you can close the lid until an angle is left of about 20 degrees with the keyboard.
