CG_Slotcars I believe we sank the screw holes a little deeper. This was the very first chassis we made - so there is a quite a bit that has changed in the overall design of the newer "stuff" (this chassis is roughly 2 years old now). If you can wait a little longer - I expect a shipment of a second generation 917 today that has a slightly revised front end. Once we field test that chassis - all those changes will go into second generation Fly Classic chassis (the 908/3 has some of these features). Pictures on Facebook later today most likely......
