Six 1:144 scale Daimler-Mercedes D.IIIa WWI airplane engines on a single sprue. These are the motors used in many WWI German airplanes, such as the Albatros D.Va, Fokker D.VII and Pfalz D.XII.
Use these motors in your 1:144 WWI scratch build projects or in dioramas. A .5mm starting hole is provided for you to insert a crankshaft made of wire or rod. We suggest you enlarge or deepen this hole as necessary by carefully drilling with a very sharp bit.
Please note: This model is printed in Frosted Ultra Detail acrylic plastic, which will arrive with a barely noticeable waxy coating that should be removed before you attempt to paint it.
To prepare parts for painting, soak them for up to 10 minutes in a small jar filled with acetone (nail polish remover.) Once the waxy support material is completely removed, the parts will appear mostly white.
