Rhombic Triacontahedron 2"
The Rhombic Triacontahedron is one of the Archimedean Solids and the most interesting one.
It lends itself to product design, display and architectural. Danish designer Holger Strøm used the rhombic triacontahedron as a basis for the design of his buildable IQ-light*. As a young industrial designer in Toronto, I used this shape to build display structures and for modular housing proposals.
