[THERE IS A NEWER VERSION OF THIS PRODUCT] This frame is designed to hold a folded metal plate (available elsewhere) for mounting flies during imaging or electrophysiology. Instructions for assembly are available on the flyHolder website. We recommend using acrylic for the material, because according to information from Shapeways it is watertight. If you order the "white strong and flexible" option, it would probably be a good idea to seal the reservoir area with glue or nail polish. The metal option is more expensive and probably unnecessary, but it does look cool.
