Canyon Aerocockpit sport camera mount

This attachment allows you to securely mount sport camera or front light (with suitable bracket)  underneath the Canyon computer mount extension. I have tested this mount through hundreds of kms riding with DJI Osmo Action camera on Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 8.0 with Aerocockpit.

It works perfectly with the Wahoo adapter from my shop. You can also use it with the original Garmin adapter that came with the Canyon extension.

You will need :
2 pcs M3 x 10mm countersunk screws*
2 pcs M3 x 5mm countersunk screws*
2 pcs M3 nuts
1 pcs M5 nut (to use with the camera mounting bolt, preferably locknut)
*preferably Hex type - so you can use a ball-head allen key to tighten it at an angle, but Philips or Torx works too.
Shapeways is a 3D-printing service, nuts and bolts are not 3D-printed, so Shapeways only ships the plastic part to customers. You'll have to source the nuts and bolts from your local hardware store.

How to use (for Wahoo adapter from my shop):

1. Use the M3 x 5mm screws and the M3 nuts to attach the camera mount underneath the Canyon extension. For this step you need to use the screw holes on the sides of the extension. Pay attention not to orient the camera mount sideways.
2. Use the M3 x 10mm screws to attach the Wahoo mount adapter from my shop, using the othe 2 screw holes on the front and back of the camera mount.
3. Insert the M5 nut on the slot of the camera mount, and attach you action camera/front lamp to the mount.

How to use (for Garmin adapter):

1. Use the M3 x 5mm screws and M3 nuts to to attach the camera mount underneath the Canyon extension. Use the screw holes on the sides of the extension. Pay attention not to orient the camera mount sideways.
2. Use the  M3 x 10mm screws to mount the Garmin adapter, only to the position near the handlebar. *For longer computer like Edge 1030 you may have clearance issue with the handlebar. I don't use Garmin myself anymore, so I can't confirm this. So if you are a Edge 1030 owner, see for yourself if the 1030 can work on the position near the handlebar.
3. Insert the M5 nut on the slot of the camera mount, and attach you action camera/front lamp to the mount.
