Product Description
I designed this guard to protect the motor from damage caused by rocks or other objects striking it from under the chassis. I drive mainly on the street and have had several rocks hit and scratch the motor. This guard will prevent that and any small rocks from getting inside of the motor through the bottom of the chassis.
It's easy to install; simply remove the 3 screws from the bottom of the chassis that hold the motor mount in place, move it out of the way, place the motor guard in place, put the motor back in place, and replace the 3 screws. It only lifts the motor by 0.040" and weighs a mere 4 grams.
