D-Mount to Sony FE-Mount Adapter

This adapter allows vintage D-Mount cine lenses to fit modern Sony FE mount cameras. D-Mount lenses are capable of producing images that are unique and full of character, but no modern camera systems natively accept these lenses. 

FE mount is ideal for adapting D-Mount lenses, as the large mount and full frame give plenty of clearance for the short flange distance of D-mount. This means that physically larger D-mount lenses can be used with FE than is possible with smaller mounts like E, X, or m4/3rd. 

The image circle of most (all?) D-Mount lenses is far short of covering a full frame sensor, but the high pixel density of most FE cameras gives plenty of ability to crop the final image as needed.

This adapter has been verified to fit perfectly on a Sony A7 camera. While there should be no differences on other FE-Mount cameras, please mount carefully the first time to ensure that all clearances are adequate. This adapter will not fit on E-mount cameras, as the APS-C frame baffles interfere with areas of the D-Mount.
