Product Description
Replacement C32 Sandboxes in Grey Fine Detail Plastic for the Ixion C32. The sandboxes on the Ixion C32 are of the older small type and don't represent most low-framed C32s in service that had been fitted with a taller sandbox.
There is an article outlining this in the April 2017 issue of the Australian Model Railway Magazine. As noted in the article some cutting of the die-cast metal footplate will be required to remove the existing Ixion C32 sandbox. The replacement sandbox will fit into and cover the resulting hole in the footplate.
