HO Pullman Car Wingback Chair Set

2019 Update: This product page now sells wingback armchairs only.  The small flat-backed bucket seats formerly included in this set, as well as a new round-backed bucket seat design, can now be found on their own separate product page via our main Shapeways store page.

This product is now available in three sprue sizes, which can be selected from the menu to the right.  The "small" size includes 28 chairs; the "medium" size includes 32 chairs; the "large" size includes 56 chairs.​  A small hobby blade and a file or sanding stick will be required to separate parts from their sprues and to clean up the edges.

This model now features smoother geometry, too!

These HO scale arm chairs are designed to fit into Pullman parlor or buffet cars of the 1910s to 1920s.  They are carefully styled and scaled from period and current photographs of car interiors taken on the New Haven Railroad and the Valley Railroad, and are doubtless typical of, if not identical to, chairs used on other Pullman cars in service around the country.  These chairs work well for super-detailing HO heavyweight Pullman car kits produced by Branchline Trains and other model companies.

​We test-printed these chairs using Smooth Fine Detail Plastic and they look great, albiet a bit roughly textured!  See our real-life photos.  We think that the texture adds a quality reminiscent of fabric.  A bit of light sanding could remove some imperfections if desired.
