Iceane Pendant

a scientifically accurate molecular model of iceane (C12H18), the hydrocarbon with the same skeleton as the hexagonal crystal structure of ice. It is also known as wurtzitane due to its similarity to the wurtzite crystal structure. If we extend the carbon skeleton infinitely, we will get a carbon allotrope known as lonsdaleite, or hexagonal diamond. The carbon-carbon bonds in this model are represented with triple helices.
