Product Description
I designed this brace to strengthen the rear shock towers on the SCX10 II without having to buy aluminum parts. It is intended to appear as though it’s made of mandrel bent tubing, with a couple of plate gussets. It works very well and looks good doing it! It is a direct replacement for the stock rear chassis brace, but requires replacing the two upper M3x15mm BHCS with M3x25mm BHCS (such as AXA120). These longer screws will go all the way through the shock tower and into the new brace.
You may need to clean some powder from the blind holes that was left during manufacturing. I like to use a 3/32” drill bit by hand to do so. Use caution not to overtighten, as plastic parts may strip easily.
