Product Description

This product is an Bandai Scale open coach, based mainly on the coaches Ada, Jane, and Mabel from the Skarloey in the Railway Series, which themselves were based on the open coaches from the Talyllyn Railway. It is Narrow Gauge, and comes in two scales. This scale is to fit with Bandai toys, which are slightly larger than OO9 scale models. This Bandai scale model still uses the same chassis as the OO9 coaches, however. The OO9 scale versions of these coaches can be found here:

The model is available in both Versatile Plastic and Fine Detail Plastic, depending on your budget and the finish you would like. Please note that the photos shows are test prints by my own home 3D printer, so any imperfections you can see will not be present on your model if you buy one from Shapeways.

I am also trialling a Print At Home service, where you can order items from my store directly from me. It will cost a bit less than here on Shapeways, and will be printed by my own 3D printer here at home. They will be shipped out from Australia at buyer's expense, similar to Shapeways. These models come unpainted, but are relatively simple to paint however you choose. The chassis are the same as on all of my other OO9 rolling stock, so please check out the video I did a few years ago on my YouTube channel for all the information regarding what wheels and couplings are best.
